Why did we choose to make yoga shorts using Tencel™ Lyocell?
It is a great plant-based alternative to synthetic and cotton activewear! Lyocell is arguably one of the most eco-friendly fibres on the market. Lyocell is derived from the wood pulp of sustainably farmed trees and manufacturing it requires less energy and water than organic or conventional cotton. Lyocell is soft, breathable, absorbs moisture and is soft on the skin. Tencel™ Lyocell -fabric we use in our shorts and leggings is manufactured in Germany, using Tencel™ Lyocell fibers produced by the Austrian company Lenzing AG.

The eco-friendly fabric used in these Arctic Flamingo shorts is made using
– 84% Tencel™ Lyocell
– 16% elastane (ROICA™ V550 – Cradle to Cradle-Certified™ elastane yarn)
Washing instructions: Machine wash cold (30°), wash inside out, use mild detergent, do not tumble dry, don´t use fabric softener. Hang dry.

Diese Shorts sind ein Traum. Ich habe lange nach bequemen und vorteilhaften Shorts gesucht, die ich sowohl im Alltag, als auch zum Yoga anziehen kann. Ich habe diese Shorts vor ca. 10 Tagen bekommen und bei warmem Wetter ausgiebig getestet. Größe M sitzt bei mir (1,65m – 69cm Taille, 102cm Hüfte) wie eine zweite Haut und bei keiner Bewegung rutscht etwas. Dabei sind die Shorts blickdicht. Man sollte beachten, dass sie einen wirklich hohen Bund haben (bei mir bis ca. 5cm über den Bauchnabel), aber ich finde das perfekt weil es dann kein Einschneiden in der Bauchmitte gibt. Das ist meine zweite Hose von arctic flamingo und ich bin wirklich überzeugt.

Habe schon länger nach einer nachhaltigen Shorts mit hohem Bund gesucht, da ich sie auch zum Hulla Hoop tragen möchte und gleichzeitig der Bauch so schön „in Form“ ist. Bei 1,61cm und 55kg passt mir S sehr gut und auch beim Workout verrutschte sie nicht. Der Stoff ist etwas dicker und fester, aber sehr angenehm auf der Haut.
