How do I contact Arctic Flamingo?

We can’t wait to hear from you: just write us an email to shop@arctic-flamingo.com or use the contact form.

Why is there no printed invoice in my parcel?

It has been sent along with the shipping confirmation email. Please check your spam folder if you can’t find it.

What countries do you ship to?

We ship worldwide. We ship via Deutsche Post (German Post) regular mail. If you would like to use some other shipping method, please don’t hesitate to contact us before placing your order!

How long does it take to get my leggings?

Orders ship within 1-3 business days of when your order was placed.
For anything in stock, we ship via Deutsche Post (German post office) regular mail.

• Within Germany: once your leggings have shipped, transit time is 1-3 business days.
• Europe: transit time is usually 3-8 business days
• Rest of the world: once items have shipped, transit time can range anywhere from 1-6 weeks depending on the country.

What currency are your prices in?

Euros und US dollars. You’ll see your prices in dollars if you are located e.g. in the USA, Canada or Australia.

Where do you ship from?

We ship from Germany. We currently ship all orders from our studio ourselves.

What can I do if something I like is out of stock? When will you be restocking?

Will you be extending your range at some point?

We sometimes get asked if we will be bringing out any different styles of yoga wear e.g. capris, men’s leggings, extra long leggings, tops and although we’d never say never, we don’t have any immediate plans to extend our range. We’ve spent the last few years developing our yoga leggings to get it to what it is today, carefully making tweaks along the way in response to customer feedback. Being such a small business comes with its limitations and so we feel it’s important to focus our efforts on making one exceptional product rather than making many products that we cannot sustain just yet.
Every feedback is important to us as we use it to help guide our next steps. If you have any ideas or feedback, please don’t hesitate to drop us an email! We love to hear from you!

What is your return policy?

If it wasn’t just what you wanted, we refund or exchange items in new condition with original tags attached. Feel free to return or exchange your purchase within 14 days of receiving the order.

If you are considering an exchange to size larger, we suggest trying on your leggings one more time before making a decision.

Before sending the item(s) back, please send us an email at shop@arctic-flamingo.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

• Return expenses are on you, unless the product was damaged, defective or incorrect. We are a small store and our items are only available in small quantities, we ask for your understanding that we can not cover the costs of regular returns.
• All returns should be unworn (except trying it on of course!), unwashed and in original condition.
• Tags still attached.
• All garments are subject to inspection.
• Be sure to include a note inside or outside the return package with your name and address (just as a reminder of who the return is from).

You will be refunded once your item has been received. Refunds will be made in the same form of payment originally used to make the purchase. It can take several days for your refund to be fully processed. Thank you for your patience.

What if I need to exchange something for a different colour or size?

If you would like to exchange something for a different size or colour, please email shop@arctic-flamingo.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible with a solution.

If you are considering an exchange to size larger, we suggest trying on your leggings one more time before making a decision. Arctic Flamingo leggings are meant to fit snugly at first wear and our fabric will quickly shape to you and relax by up to half a size.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, but let us know right away by sending an email to shop@arctic-flamingo.com with your order details. Sometimes (actually very often!) we ship the same day and if the item has already been shipped, the only thing we can do is to wait until it has been returned before we refund you.

Will Arctic Flamingo yoga leggings shed microfibres?

Taking into account that ALL synthetic fabrics shed – the short answer is yes! Our yoga leggings will undoubtedly start to break down over time thus releasing microfibers. We’ve created a dedicated blog post on the subject where we talk all about the issue. We also put one of our leggings through it’s very own shed test using Guppyfriend washing bag. In general, we recommend you to buy only yoga gear made from high-quality fabric and minimize how often you wash your polyester or nylon clothes.

Arctic Flamingo leggings are made from nylon waste. Do your leggings feel like plastic?

No, in fact our yoga leggings feel pretty damn luxurious. All our leggings are super soft, comfy and have silky feel – you’d have absolutely no clue that they were recycled from nylon waste.

How do I track my order?

When your order is shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation that will include ship date and tracking information. Please note that it can take up to several hours for your tracking number to become active once received!

How do I know which size will fit me best and how should I take my measurements?

Standing with your heels together, measure around the fullest part of your hips. Make sure you keep the tape straight and parallel to the floor. Leggings are on the small side so if you are between two sizes, we recommend going for the larger size. We pay special attention to the hip measurement in the chart as we find it is the best indicator of fit.

If you´re in the correct size of our leggings these fit snug but comfortable at first wear. Our fabric will quickly ease to fit your body and relax by up to half a size.

What is the best way to care for my Arctic Flamingo?

Choose an environmentally friendly detergent and go easy on it! Wash cold, hang dry and don’t use fabric softener because it reduces the fabric’s wicking capabilities (and is not good for environment).

How will my leggings be packaged?

We use padded paper mailers and small carton boxes made 100% from recycled paper. They can be reused and are of course fully recyclable! Your leggings will be shipped free of any plastic wrapping.

Where are your goods manufactured?

The fabric is printed, cut and sewn in Germany. It is made in Italy.

Do you offer wholesale?

Unfortunately we don’t offer wholesale! We sell only direct to our lovely customers.

When will you bring new prints out?

Randomly! We don’t follow the seasons and release new collections like the fashion industry normally does. We like freestyling! Many of our prints are here to stay, you’ll find them in our shop also next year.
